Still Unexplored cave – A Billasurgam Cave, Kurnool

GHACan’s had great experience to walk and scrolling on darklight of caves by clearing the punches from the bats and escaping with scorpions.

Thanks to jamila, Jyothi, Vivek ,naveen and rest of the team members to encouraged us and had proper coordination among us. I think we have covered almost all the caves which are surrounded. Most of the caves are small and easy to explore but the bats smell was terrible.  We have found one big cave and explored 75% of the part. Interior of the cave was very small with 1000’s of bats, scorpions, and spiders. Opening of the cave was big and can able to walk for a distance and then went on knees for a while.  I was leading the team and struggled a bit to clear the bats to move further. Our head torches and lights couldn’t work out and we were suffocated and sweating and bad smell.

I, jyothi,Jamila and vivek decided  to explore more in-depth of the cave. As, we are moving further the cave was narrow and very small.  We were crawling by clearing the bats but suddenly few bats came on us and attacked on my face and hand, luckily I have helmet and my face was coved with handkerchief. They have not harmed me a much but it was a bit hesitated feeling and suffocated. After a while, Jyothi got the technique to clear the bats and called vivek to lead further. We have started crawling into the cave as much as we can and cave was very narrow, started to crawl on one side. It was very hot, jam-packed, dehydrated,  oxygen level was low, couldn’t able to breath bats shit odor and peach dark, there is more 10ft to crawl on one side and after that 1ft open and turn and down. It might be end or a little more to explore. However, we have spent two hours to explore on that cave and experience was dumbfounded.

Thumbs up Pinnacle - Nasik region

Five of us started our trip from Secunderabad to Manmad on 11.11.11. Our aim: To climb Hadbi Chi Shendi (thumb up pinnacle). We figured that we could also climb the navara and navari pinnacles which were a part of the Pahine Village Hills. and Boy! were we wrong :).

Propelling by paddling through the crystal clear water of Laknavaram Lake, we went on longer
distances. A few of the members went round from island to island while the other adventurers
began swimming and were indulged in other water sports.
